ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to grant terminal benefits with all attendant benefits by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 01.02.2023.

2. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has worked as a Extension Officer (Social Welfare Department) and based on a criminal complaint of the alleged demand of bride, she was suspended vide Order dated 17.06.2019. The said criminal case has ended up in acquittal during the year 2019 and he had attained the age of superannuation on 31.12.2011, however, the terminal benefits have not been paid.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that for payment of terminal benefits to the petitioner, the same has been forwarded to the first respondent and the first respondent will pass orders within a period of six weeks.

4. Such view of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to release the terminal benefits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
