PRAYER: Contempt petition under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act,1971 to punish the Respondent for willful disobedience of the order dated 31.01.2020 made in Contempt Petition No. 640 of 2019 in Writ Petition No.32318 of 2006.

Contempt Petition No.1116 of 2020 Pleader appearing for respondent / contemnor, submitted that due to pandemic situation, road laying work was not completed. However, the respondent / contemnor undertakes to complete the road laying work within a period of one year. Recording the aforesaid undertaking, this contempt petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive the contempt petition, if the undertaking given by the respondent/contemnor is not complied with.
