O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the respondent to disburse the belated payment of interest amount of provident fund, gratuity, leave salary and other unsettle benefits of leave salary surrender for the years of 2009-2011 & 2017-2018 and 10 days salary with effect from 20.09.2020 within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had voluntarily retired from the services of the respondent on 27.05.2023 as Checking Inspector, and made a representation dated 06.05.2025 to the respondent seeking interest for the belated payment of the terminal benefits such as provident fund, gratuity and leave salary and to settle the leave salary surrender for the years of 2009-2011 & 2017-2018 and 10 days salary with effect from 20.09.2020 along with interest, there was no response for the same.

3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2/5

respondent would fairly submit that they would consider the said representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the said fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
