ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondent to disburse the belated payment of 1/5
interest amount of Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave Salary and other unsettle benefits of leave salary surrender for the year of 2009-2011 & 2017-2018 and 10 days salary with effect from 01.07.2023 within a stipulated time to the petitioner.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has joined in the respondent Corporation on 06.10.1988 and had retired from his service on 30.06.2023. However, the terminal benefits have been settled to him only on 16.04.2025 and no interest has been paid for the delayed period. In view of the same, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 28.04.2025 to the respondent to pay interest for the delayed period. Since the same was not considered by the respondent, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.
3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent would fairly submit that they would consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 28.04.2025 and would pay eligible amount within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the said fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, without going in to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2025 and pass orders according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
