This petition seeks appointment of a Sole Arbitrator to resolve disputes between the petitioner and respondent arising out of Contract dated 27.05.2011 in Contract Agreement No.TBM/SG/CN/337/1/73/3/CGL - VM/IBS & BPAC/CONT. http://www.judis.nic.in

vga 2.When the matter is called for hearing today, both learned counsel agreed that Mr.Velu, M.A. M.L., Principal District Judge (retired) be appointed as Sole Arbitrator.
3.I, thus, appoint Mr.Velu, M.A. M.L., Principal District Judge (retired), No.7, Indira Gandhi Street, Radha Nagar, Chrompet, Chennai-600 044 (Mobile No.94458 44753), as the Sole Arbitrator to enter upon reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties and after issuing notice to the parties and upon hearing them, pass an award as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the order. The learned Arbitrator is at liberty to fix his remuneration and other incidental expenses, which shall be borne by both the parties equally.
4.The Original Petition is, accordingly, allowed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
