Padmavathi v. No Respondent

One Mr.R.N.Balaubramanian executed a Will in-respect-of his property in favour of his brother's son Hari Krishnan reserving life interest in favour of his wife Padmavathi on the death of Balasubramanian on 23.11.2015. The said Padmavathi has filed Original Petition in O.P.No.3 of 2024 for grant of Letters of Administration in the matter of last Will dated 07.09.2007 of R.N.Balasubramanian and Testament . Pending Original Petition, Padmavathi died on 04.11.2024 and the same is reported by the learned counsel appearing for Padmavathi.

2. Considering the death of the petitioner who held life interest inrespect-of the property, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, Original petition stands dismissed. The legatee under the Will upon whom, the property been vested absolutely as per the Will is at liberty to seek for Letters of Administration by filing fresh petition. Consequently, the application in 5319 of 2024 stands dismissed.
