This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to act upon the representation 2/4

made by the petitioner on 15.03.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for initiating action against the private respondents on the ground that they are mismanaging and misusing the property of the temple.

2. Heard Mr.N.Damodaran, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.S.Ravichandran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for first respondent and Mr.R.Murthi, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 2, 3 and 4.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the private respondents are indulging in mismanagement of the funds belonging to the temple and they are not maintaining proper accounts and they are siphoning off the funds belonging to the temple. It is under these circumstances, a representation came to be given before the first respondent for taking action. Since there was no response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the representation made by 3/4

N.ANAND VENKATESH, J gm the petitioner on 15.03.2025 and take a decision after affording opportunity to respondents 5 to 10 and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
