The respondent/husband though served, has not chosen to appear before this Court either in person or through counsel duly instructed.

2. The wife seeks transfer of H.M.O.P.No.83 of 2021 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Viruthachalam launched by the husband seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty to the Family Court at Chennai.

3. The wife is a resident of Chrompet which is outside the jurisdiction of the Family Court at Chennai. Hence, I do not see any justification in the request for transfer to the Family Court at Chennai. However, considering the convenience of the petitioner/wife, H.M.O.P.No.83 of 2021 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Viruthachalam is withdrawn and transferred https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the Sub Court, Alandur to be tried and disposed of in accordance with law. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous petition is allowed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
