included in the Tamil Nadu General Service for the year 2018-2019. The petitioner had cleared the written examination and mental ability test and thereafter she went to her relative's place and got stuck there due to the then Covid-19 restrictions. Since it was a remote place, no internet facility was available. When she returned to her native place on 13.11.2020, she came to know that the results were published and the certificate verification was held on 28.10.2010 to 06.11.2010. Though the petitioner was selected and her name was found available in the selected list of candidates, she could not go for certificate verification due to the above reasons.

4. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, only one post was reserved under the category of Scheduled Caste-Arunthathiyar quota and the petitioner was selected for the same. Since the said post remains vacant, the respondents should be directed to allow the petitioner to subject her for certificate verification and then issue appropriate orders.

5. However, the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent submitted that no post remains vacant as against the reserved Page No.3 of 6

SC Arunthathiyar Category. The one post reserved in the impugned recruitment has also been filled up and hence it is not possible to consider the representation of the petitioner.

6. In view of above submissions of the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent, this Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
