W.A.No.2661 of 2024 C.M.P.No.19178 of 2024 in W.A.No.2661 of 2024 D.KRISHNAKUMAR,J., and P.B.BALAJI, J.

It is represented by the learned Additional Advocate General that similarly placed persons have filed a batch of Writ Petitions before this Court, which came to be allowed by this Court. When the order passed in the batch of Writ Petitions was questioned in appeal before the Division Bench of this Court by the Department, all the appeals were dismissed. It is further represented that aggrieved by the order of dismissal, the Department has preferred Petitions before the Supreme Court in Special Leave to Appeal (C) Nos.13876-13888 of 2021, in which, the Apex Court, while issuing notice, issued an interim direction on 17.09.2021 that the contempt proceedings arising from the impugned judgment shall be kept in abeyance until further orders.

2. In view of the above submission, the interim order already granted by this Court is hereby made absolute.
