ORDER
This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 25.03.2024 and to issue the joint patta in Block No.44, Town Puliyur and T.S.No.1 part 45, 45/2, 46, 42, 41, 47 and 48 of undivided 1/4
share of 54 grounds and 835 sq.ft in the name of the petitioner association.

It is the case of the writ petitioner that the properties have been purchased by several owners, they formed association and in this regard, they have given representation for issuance of patta in the name of the association, which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
5. At the outset, this Court is of the view that name of the association alone cannot be mutated in the revenue record. The revenue records is only meant to include the name of the purchaser of the owner of the property. Such view of the matter, let the concerned purchasers, who have purchased the undivided share shall make individual applications or joint application to the respondent within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and on such applications, the respondent shall consider the application including the issuance of joint patta in the name of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the interested persons. Such exercise shall 2/4
be completed within a period of two months thereafter.
