Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members residing at No.6, 3rd street, Viswanathapuram, Guduvancherry, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District, on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 06.06.2018 and evict the 4th respondent from the petitioner's house for safety and security of his life.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the representation given by the petitione dated 06.06.2018 and evict the 4th respondent from the petitioner's house for the safety and security of his life.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 06.06.2018 is pending with the third respondent. Further, it is also seen that the petitioner and the fourth respondent are none other than father and son. 4.Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry, based on the representation given by the petitioner on 06.06.2018, and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
