Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to measure the petitioner's land viz., in Survey No.196/1A to an extent of 0.03.5 ares comes to the tune of 9 cents of lands in Kariyalur Village comes within the limits of Kalvarayan Hills, Kallakurichi by disposing the petitioner's online application dated 22.06.2024 vide application No.2024/N123/33/001879 within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second and third respondents to measure the petitioner's land viz., in Survey No.196/1A to an extent of 0.03.5 ares comes to the tune of 9 cents of lands in Kariyalur Village comes within the limits of Kalvarayan Hills, Kallakurichi by disposing the petitioner's online application dated 22.06.2024 vide application No.2024/N123/33/001879 within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the subject property to an extent of 0.03.5 ares comes to an extent of 9 cents in Kariyalur Village and acquired title to the said property by way of registered sale deed dated 16.06.1995. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given an online for surveying his land and fixation of boundaries, the same has not been 2/4

considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 17.07.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interest persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
