This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 15.12.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.15645 of 2020, thereby directing the first respondent to issue notice to the petitioner and the counter parties and after giving them opportunity of hearing, pass an award for compensation in respect of the subject property within a period of eight weeks.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the first respondent conducted enquiry and the award amount has already been deposited to the credit of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur, since there is a title dispute between the parties concerned.
