ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 20.03.2026 and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to remove the petitioners name K.Thangavelu from the History Sheet in HSG.No.5/2007 maintained by the 3rd respondent.

2. Heard Mr.P. Asai Thambi, learned counsel appearing on either side Mr.R.Ganesh Kumar, Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu( Crl side) appearing for the respondents. Perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.03.2026 , after issuing notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any, and to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
