ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent police to provide protection to the person and property of the petitioner.

2. On a reading of the petition it is seen that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the second respondent, who is said to be a distant relative, in connection with which, a case in O.S.No.2312 of 2015 is pending on the file of the I Additional District Munsif Court, Puducherry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In such view of the matter, no police protection can be granted as prayed for by the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies before the civil Court.
