ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to measure the land in Survey No.154/1 measuring an extent of 5 acres 19 cents, Mookanur Village, Kadaiyampatti Taluk, Salem District, earmark the boundaries and lay stone by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 03.06.2024.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property has been purchased by the father of the petitioner along with his brother on 13.06.2011 and after the death of his father, the petitioner, his mother and his brother and sisters are in possession and enjoying the said property. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given an application for measuring their land and earmark the boundaries and lay stone, the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 2/4

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 03.06.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other parties interested, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
