O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to appoint Trustees for Arulmigu Mariamman and Mundhi Vinayagar and allied Temples situated at Puliyakulam Village, Coimbatore District amongst the members of Devendra Kula Sozhiya Vellalar Community, who are residing at Puliyakulam Village, as per the scheme decree in O.A.No.2 of 2000 dated 11.04.2017 passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Administration Department, Coimbatore, within a time fixed by this Court, by considering the petitioner's application for appointment of Trustee.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner belongs to Devendra Kula Sozhiya Vellalar Community and is residing at Puliyakulam Village and is entitled to get appointment as Trustees from Community people of Puliyakulam Village, as per the scheme decree in O.A.No.2 of 2000 dated 11.04.2017 passed by the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Administration Department, Coimbatore and the Trustee has not been appointed in terms of the Scheme Decree so far. Thereby, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to appoint the Trustees from the petitioner's community people in terms of the scheme decree in O.A.No.2 of 2000 dated 11.04.2017. Accordingly, he prays for allowing this writ petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that for modification of the scheme decree in O.A.No.2 of 2000 dated 11.04.2017, an application is pending before the competent authority. However, the scheme decree will be implemented by appointing the eligible Trustee of the Temple within a reasonable time.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to implement the scheme decree passed by the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Administration Department, Coimbatore, in O.A.No.2 of 2022 dated 11.04.2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
