This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the to the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.9/2017 pending on the file of the respondent within a reasonable period.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR and the fact that the FIR was registered as early as on 17.01.2017, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided there is no other legal impediment, either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
