Respondent This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to forthwith grant Patta to the property of the petitioner situated at Old Survey No. 42/2, New Survey No. 42/2A, at Lakkampatty Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District by considering passing necessary orders on the application of the petitioner dated 29.09.2019 and the reminder dated 20.01.2020.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 29.09.2019, wherein the petitioner has sought for grant of patta in her name with respect to the subject property.

Mr.M.Manigopi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the respondent has already fixed a date for enquiry on 29.12.2020 at 11.00 a.m. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the respondent has already called the petitioner for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the respondent to conduct enquiry and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
