The writ petition is filed for the relief set out below: "directing the respondents to revise the pay scale of difference in Salary Surrender Leave Salary, Dearness Allowance, Gratuity and pension as per 15th wage settlement in reference No.C1/20334/2023 dated 29.05.2025 along with 10% interest to the petitioners."

2. The brief facts which has culminated in the filing of these writ petitions are set out below:

2.1. It is the case of the petitioners that they joined the service as "Senior Special Grade Driver, Conductor, Checking Inspector and Tradesman under the first respondent Corporation respectively. They retired on attaining the age of superannuation. It is the contention of the petitioners that their settlement benefits had been settled in pre-revised pay instead of revised pay. In accordance with the 15th Wage Settlement, the petitioners are entitled to get the difference in gratuity, provident fund, leave salary and pension with 10%

interest.

3. The petitioners had made a representation to the respondents to pay their differential payments with interest. However, the same had not been considered to date by the respondents. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court.

4. Heard the learned Counsel on either side and perused the records.

5. Considering the limited request of the petitioners and taking note of the fact that the petitioners' representation has not been considered to date by the Respondents, a mandamus, is therefore, issued to the respondents to pay the difference in Salary, Surrender Leave Salary, Dearness Allowance, Gratuity and pension as per 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 at the rate of 6% instead of 10% per annum as claimed for within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected miscellaneous petition in W.M.P.No.No.23315 of 2026 is ordered as prayed for.
