O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to transfer the patta in his name in respect of the land comprised in S.No.18/1A of Ponmar Village, Vandalur Taluk and Chengalpattu District, by considering his online application dated 17.02.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, he got right over the above mentioned property under a settlement deed dated 13.09.1994. The petitioner submitted online application dated 17.02.2024 seeking transfer of patta in his name, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.Arasakumar, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the online application of the petitioner dated 17.02.2024 will be considered, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 17.02.2024 and pass final orders, on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
