The petitioner prays to issue a writ of mandamus, directing to promote the petitioner for the next promotional post of grama Sevika.

2. When the matter was called on 05.07.2018 and 19.07.2018, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to argue the matter. When the matter was called on 31.07.2018, the learned Government Advocate produced a letter of the District Project Officer in Na.Ka.No.2218/m2/2008 dated 26.07.2018, along with the consent document, alleged to have been given by the petitioner for withdrawal of the case. the matter was directed to be listed on 01.08.2018, under the caption "for dismissal".

3. Even today i.e on 01.08.2018 when the matter is called there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was passed over to 2.15 p.m. Even at 2.15 p.m. there is no representation for the petitioner which shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case.
