ORDER
The writ petition has been filed challenging the auto generated order communicated to the petitioner by the 5th respondent on 23.01.2025 and direct the respondents to reimburse the balance medical bill amount of Rs.3,52,966/-, incurred by the petitioner for sustaining burning injury, due to electric shock, while the petitioner was on duty as Wireman.
The case of the petitioner is that he was working as Wireman in the office of the Assistant Engineer (O&M), TANGEDCO, Ayothiyapattanam (West), Salem. On 26.09.2024, when the petitioner was on duty, due to sudden electric shock, he sustained severe burn injury and the petitioner spent a total sum of Rs.4,32,271/- for the treatment. Hence the petitioner made a representation to the respondents to reimburse the medical expenses incurred by the petitioner for a sum of Rs.4,32,271/-. However, the 5th respondent sanctioned only Rs.78,624/-. Hence the present writ petition has been filed.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the sanction of Rs.78,624/- is contrary to the medical bill submitted by the petitioner.
At this juncture, Mr.K.Tippu Sultan, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has got remedy before the State Level Committee headed by Commissioner of Treasuries at Nandanam.
Heard the learned Counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

It is well settled law that the writ Court cannot go into the factual position of the matter, when there is an appellate remedy provided under the scheme.
In such view of the matter, this Court do not find any merits in the instant writ petition and stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is given liberty to approach the State Level Committee within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
