ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 379 and 511 of IPC., in Crime No.510 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is a Panchayat Secretary of Pulimeu, Vellore District. The petitioner along with some other accused have made an attempt to steal the motor and pipes of the Panchayat property, on seeing the defacto complainant, they fled away from that place. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he was in no way connected with the alleged offence. He would further submit that he has been falsely implicated in this case. Further, he submitted that this is the third anticipatory bail application of this petitioner. Hence, he prays for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4.It is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner has made an attempt to steal the exchequer's property. Further, he submitted that there is one hurt case against the petitioner and also 4 theft cases, totally 5 previous cases pending against him. Therefore, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5.Considering the criminal propensity of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
