The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.06.2022 for the offences punishable under Section 392 of IPC in Crime No.260 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 26.05.2022 at about 8.00 p.m. the petitioner along with other accused person snatched the 5 1⁄2 sovereign gold chain from the de-facto complainant and escaped from the scene of occurrence. Hence, the complaint.

3. There are totally two accused. The petitioner had committed a very serious and heinous offence as against the society. Further, the petitioner is involved in two previous cases.
