PRAYER: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give further time for getting approval from the 3rd respondent on the basis of petitioner's application dated 15.05.2022 and the explanation submitted by the petitioner dated 11.05.2023 and 09.06.2023 and consider the same and time limit may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of a writ of mandamus for directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give further time for getting approval from the 3rd respondent on the basis of petitioner's application for approval dated 15.05.2023 and explanation dated 11.05.2023 and 09.06.2023. 2.Heard Mr.C.Kathiravan, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3.The matter pertains to granting approval to a primary school but the petitioner is yet to obtain plan approval for the building from the 3rd respondent. 4.The prayer on the face of it is amusing. If the petitioner wants approval for running a school, then it has to comply with all that the law requires. This Court is not the authority to grant time for what the petitioner needs to do. She has to approach the authority concerned for extension of time. After all, this Court is not running either the Town Planning Department or the School Education. 5.In view of the same, this Court does not consider that any order need to be passed in this petition.

6.The writ petition stands accordingly closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
