The petitioner herein is the 4th accused in Cr.No.183 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent is before this Court to quash the said FIR on the ground that the complaint given by one Balaji alleging that the petitioner's mother had picked quarrel with him in the public place and attacked . In the said complaint, no overt act attributed to this petitioner.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the final report in this case has been filed after completion of investigation and the same is pending before the Judicial Magistrate Court-IV, Vellore vide e-filing No.TN20230001131C20240039 dated 14.07.2024.
3. In the light of the fact that the investigation has already been completed and final report filed, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition to quash the FIR. It at all, the petitioner is aggrieved, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised.
4. With this observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 23.09.2024 Vv To 2/4
