To extend the License period of Mrs.K.Lalitha by fixing the annual License fee, from 01.07.2025 for a further period that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court with appropriate periodical enhancement of the License fee, for performing daily pujas and to receive the revenues/ Hundial collections at the Arulmigu Body Guard Muneeswarar Temple at Pallavan Salai, Mount Road, Chennai 600 002.

O R D E R

It is seen from the order dated 29.06.2022, attempts to auction the right to perform Poojas in the temple of Arulmigu Body Guard Muneeswarar Temple have failed. The present licensee has been allowed to continue with a revision of license fee annually. Provision has been made for increase the license fee at Rs.5,00,000/- per annum. At present, the licensee is paying a sum of Rs.1,15,00,000/- per annum + 18% GST. The period expires on 30.06.2025. It is become imperative to extend the license on modified terms.

In view of the above, Tmt.K.Lalitha, the licensee is permitted to continue as a licensee for performing Poojas and receive the Hundial Collections from Temple on an annual license fee of Rs.1,20,00,000/- for a period of one year from 01.07.2025 to 30.06.2026. Renewal will be for a period of five years and the license fee shall be enhanced at 2% per annum after the expiry of first one year.
