ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.695 of 2013 pending on the file of the first respondent police.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.695 of 2013, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur and the same was taken on file as CC No.348 of 2013. Subsequently, after trial, the petitioner was also acquitted from the charges by order dated 23.11.2015.
3. Since the charge sheet has already been filed in Crime No.695 of 2013 and the case ended in acquittal, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
