ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 27.06.2012 passed in W.P.No. 16155 of 2012.

2. When the matter came up for consideration yesterday i.e., on 20.08.2025, Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, represented that the respondents have already complied with the order passed by this Court. Accordingly, the matter was adjourned to tomorrow (21.08.2025) to enable the petitioners to verify the same.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the respondents have complied with the order by duly issuing the proceedings. However, he submitted that the consequential amount towards arrears of pension is yet to be paid.

4. In response to the same, Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the arrears of pension would be paid, within a period of two weeks from today. 3/5
