Mohammed Kasim, aged about 36 years, as a Goonda under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 82 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the said detenu, the detenu now lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in No. 347/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 22.06.2019, detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3002 Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 16.08.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
