Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent 1/4
to issue the Government order as per request made by the fourth respondent in Pen30/5/OR11/10921978/19-20/39215 dated 20.08.2019 to step up the scale of pay on par with junior R.Karuppan with effect from 24.05.2002 as per order passed by this Court in W.P.No.10042 of 2010 same was confirmed by the division bench in W.A.No.3145 of 2015 and recommended by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.042099/L/E3/2021 dated 01.02.2022.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to issue order as per the communication issued by the fourth respondent dated 20.08.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner had joined service as Tamil Pandit and he was conferred with Selection Grade on 07.01.1992. After completion of 20 years of service, Special Grade was also conferred on 07.01.2022. Thereafter, the petitioner was promoted to the post of Headmaster of High School. However, his junior, who was also appointed as Tamil Pandit, receiving higher salary than the petitioner. Therefore, the 2/4
petitioner made claim to rectify the anomaly and the same was rejected. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed a writ petition before this Court in W.P.No.10042 of 2010 and the same was allowed by an order dated 11.07.2011. Aggrieved by the same, the respondents filed a writ appeal before this Court in W.A.No.3145 of 2012 and the same was also dismissed by an order dated 09.01.2015 with direction to implement the order passed by the Hon'ble Single Judge of this Court within a period of four weeks. Accordingly, the fourth respondent, by the communication dated 20.08.2019, informed that the Government has to step up the scale of pay on par with the junior with effect from 24.05.2002.
4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders as directed by this Court in W.P.No.10042 of 2010 to step up the scale of pay on par with his junior with effect from 24.05.2002 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
