The order challenged in this appeal is one made under Section 27 of the Hindu Marriage Act relating to disposal of the property of the spouses presented at or around the time of the marriage.

2. The order being in the nature of interlocutory order is not appealable. Section 28 of the Hindu Marriage Act which provides for appeal against certain orders does not provide for an appeal against the order passed under Section 27 of the Hindu Marriage Act. This is not an order made appealable either under Section 104 or under Order 43 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.

3. Hence, the Registry is directed to convert this appeal into Civil Revision Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India and place it before the Judge dealing with Civil Revision Petitions. (R.S.M., J.) (R.S.V., J.) 03.04.2024 dsa https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
