This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.649 of 2010, which was submitted to the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pollachi by the respondent Police.

2. Heard Mr.T.M.Naveen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr.P.S.Kothandaraman, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.649 of 2010 was completed and final report has been filed in PRC.No.12 of 2011 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pollachi.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the accused have also filed a quash petition in Crl.OP.No.20186 of 2011 to quash the charge sheet, which has been disposed of by this Court on 07.12.2011. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
