O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to complete the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2015 on the file of the 2nd respondent and file a final report against the accused in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the fact that there are huge number of depositors and the amount involved is Rs.32,92,42,100/-, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2015 in a time bound manner.

4. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the police have identified several properties belonging to the financial establishment and they are taking steps under TNPID Act for freezing the assets.

5. In such view of the matter, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report in accordance with law.
