When the matter is taken up today, pursuant to the Order of this Court, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the terminal benefits shall be processed to the official wards of the deceased as per rules.

2. When this Court has satisfied and issued Succession Certificate to the concerned parties, it is for the applicant to release the entire amount as per the Succession Certificate and they cannot interpret and drag the matter for more than a period of 8 years.

3. Accordingly, this application is dismissed and the applicant is directed to release the terminal benefits as per the Succession Certificate issued by this Court within a period of three weeks, failing which this Court has no other option except to initiate contempt proceedings.
