Counsel For Government Of Tamil Nadu (criminal Side) Order (Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth J.) The prayer in this Writ Petition is for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of petitioner to transfer her husband Mr.Pradeep, S/o Dharga Mohan, aged 31 years, under trial prisoner, now confined in the Central Prison, Vellore, to the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai.

2. Mr.C.R.Malarvannan, learned Counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) who accepts notice for the respondents accedes to the receipt of representation dated 20.04.2026.

3. Hence, it would be appropriate for the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2026 and we so direct the competent authority to consider and pass orders on the aforesaid representation, in accordance with the prevailing Rules and Regulations, within a period of four

(4) weeks from today.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed as above.
