O R D E R

The petition has been filed seeking Letters of Administration with respect to a Will dated 04.04.2022 executed by Chitra Sundaresan, the late wife of the petitioner and mother of the respondents. She died on 22.10.2022.

The respondents have expressed their consent for grant of letters of administration to the petitioner, their father. 3.

After following due procedure, the petitioner was directed to tender evidence. Accordingly, the petitioner examined himself as P.W.1. The original unregistered Will dated 04.04.2022 was marked as Ex.P1 and death certificate and legal heirship certificate of Chitra Sundaresan were marked as Exs.P2 & P3. The documents relating to the property was marked as Ex.P8. The petitioner also examined as P.W.2, D.Balasubramanian, who was one of the executors of the Will. He affirmed Ex.P1 - Will and stated that the testatrix had executed the Will in his presence and in the presence of other attesting witness. He also stated that the testatrix was in sound and disposing state of mind at the time of execution.

Taking into consideration the evidence recorded and

documents produced, this Original Petition stands allowed. Letters of Administration with Will annexed to be granted to the petitioner in accordance with rules. Such Letters of Administration shall have effect throughout the State of Tamil Nadu. The petitioner is directed to execute a security bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) in the name of the Assistant Registrar (Original Side) of this Court and he is further directed to file an inventory of assets and statement of accounts within a period of six months and one year, respectively.
