ORDER
This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint lodged by him on 18.04.2026.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4. Perused the materials available on record. 3.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the fourth respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 5th and 6th respondents, and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
