Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the encroachment of the place situated in Survey No.116, C.P.Valasu Post, Vazhapadi Taluk, Salem District on the basis of the proceedings initiated by the 1st respondent in Oo.Mu.8334/2017/K1 dated 20.04.2017 on the basis of the representation dated 04.03.2017 sent by the Petitioner to take appropriate action against the encroachers and to remove the same within a time fixed by the Honourable Court.

Though the petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the encroachment based on the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Oo.Mu.8334/2017/K1 dated 20.04.2017, Mr.R.Udhayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that based on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proceedings of the 1st respondent, notices have already been issued to the encroachers and they have sought time to vacate the encroached portion.

2.Recording the above statement, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to file the compliance report by 30.07.2018, stating whether the encroachers have themselves vacated.
