Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certioraried Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned notice dated 12.09.2004 issued under section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 on 21.09.2004 to the petitioner by the Tahsildar, Tindivanam the 3rd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents 2, 3 and 5 i.e., the District Collector, Villupuram, The Tahsildar, Tindivanam, The Revenue Inspector, Marakkanam, their subordinates or any person acting under them not to take any coercive steps to evict the petitioner from the land under the petitioner's occupation in Survey No.1 to an extent of 1.35.0 acre at 215, Anumanthai Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupram District and consequently directing the second
respondent to grant lease in favour of the petitioner in respect of the aforesaid land on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 06.08.2003 submitted to the second respondent. For Petitioner :

ORDER
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the bundle.
