Respondents Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioners for one Female Member Post in any of the vacancies of Consumer Forum i.e.1.Madurai, 2.Chennai (South), 3.Nagapattinam, 4.Perambalur, 5.Thanjavur, 6.Tiruchirappali, 7.Thiruvarur, 8, Chengalpattu, 9.Vellore, 10.Villupuram, 11.The Nilgiris, 12.Karur and 13.Cuddalore, as per the Tamil Nadu Arunthathiyars (Special
Reservation of Seats in Educational Institutions including Private Educational Institutions and of appointments or posts in the services under the State within the Reservation for the Scheduled Castes) Act, 2009 dated 29.04.2009 framed under Section 13 of the above said act as reserved posts at 2,32,66,in the 100 point roaster.

When the Writ Petition was listed for hearing on 06.11.2017, there was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner and the Registry was directed to list the matter on 07.11.2017, under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today (07.11.2017) also when the matter was called, none appeared for the writ petitioner. 2.In the light of the fact that there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner, it is evident that the petitioner is not willing to get along with the matter and therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
