ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection based on the petitioner representation dated 15.09.2020.

A careful reading of the complaint shows that there is some personal dispute between the petitioner and respondents 4 and 5, who are the political rivalries. Except for a bald statement that the petitioner was threatened, there are absolutely no particulars given as to when the petitioner was threatened and how there is a life threat to the petitioner. is also seen that there are FIRs pending investigation against the petitioner, on the file of the third respondent. 3.

In the considered view of this Court, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court and even otherwise, a petition seeking for police protection cannot be maintained under Section 482 of Cr.P.C.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
