PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act 18 of 1960 as amended by Act 23 of 1973 praying to set aside the order of the Learned Appellate Judge in VII Small Causes Court, Chennai dated 15.10.2004 made in the R.C.A. No.983 of 2003 confirming the order of the Rent Controller XIV Small Causes Court, Chennai dated 04.09.2003 made in M.P.No.615 of 2003, the R.C.O.P. No.807 of 2003.

ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition was filed in the year 2004, and the same was admitted on 05.11.2004. It is seen that, thereafter, the matter was not listed and the same is listed before this Court today only. Thus, for the past 16 years, the revision petitioner has not taken any steps to get the matter listed, which per se, shows that the revision petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case any further.

2. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
