The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to approve the appointment of the Petitioner as P.G. Assistant English with effect from the date of appointment on 02.02.2022 with salary and other benefits forthwith.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as a P.G. Assistant (English) Teacher on 02.02.2022 in the promotion vacancy of one J.Ebenezer. It is the further submission of the petitioner that for approval of his appointment, the School Authorities have sent a proposal on 04.02.2022 to the 4th respondent and thereafter, on account of asking certain clarification by the 4th respondent, the same was 2/5
immediately submitted and the final proposal dated 24.04.2025 is pending with the Official Respondents for some time.
4. At this juncture, the learned Special Government appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would fairly submit that they would consider the 5th respondent's proposal, within a reasonable time.
5. In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the 5th respondent's proposal dated 24.04.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 19.06.2025 dm Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order 3/5
