This petition is filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail concerned in Cr.No.284 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is falsely implicated in Cr.No.284 of 2023 registered for the offences under Section 4 (1) (a) read with Section 4 (1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act. Petitioner is in judicial custody from 10.06.2023. Thus, he prays for bail. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on 10.06.2023 at about 10.00 a.m. petitioner was found in illegal possession of 16 bottles of liquor without any permission or license. He has twelve previous cases registered against him. Out of which, eleven cases had been disposed. It is reported that he was convicted in some cases. 4.Considering the fact that petitioner is habitual offender in connection with illegal possession of liquor presumed to be poisonous, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
