Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure to modify the condition imposed in Para No.7(c) of the order dated 03.11.2020 passed in the above Criminal Original Petition No.17065 of 2020, directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m., instead, permit the petitioner to appear before the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai.

For petitioner : Mr.D.N.Dhurgasha For respondents : Mr.R.Aneesan, Government Advocate This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.OP No.17065 of 2020 in Clause 7(c).

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the directions of this Court, an amount of Rs.1,50,000/- has been paid by the petitioner. Further, he submits that the petitioner being a lady is facing some difficulties to appear before the Investigating Officer. Hence, the condition imposed by this Court vide order dated 3.11.2020 in Clause 7(c) may be modified and she may be directed to appear before the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai.

3. Mr.R.Aneesan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent - police has no serious objection for such modification. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Accordingly, condition stipulated in Clause 7(c) of the order dated 3.11.2020, stands modified as under :- (c) the petitioner shall report before the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, daily for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required.

5. The other conditions imposed vide order dated 3.11.2020 stands unaltered.

6. This petition is ordered accordingly.
