ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.031712/W2/2008, dated 04.04.2008 and to quash the same.
2. The petitioner was working as a Post Graduate Assistant (Chemistry) at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Arani, Tiruvannamalai District. She was originally appointed as Post Graduate Assistant under Rule 10(a)(i) on 03.12.1996 and thereafter, she was regularly appointed on 11.01.1997 through
Teachers Recruitment Board, Chennai. Initially, she was appointed at Government Higher Secondary School, Ariyalur, Villupuram District and subsequently, transferred to Government Higher Secondary School, Thandarampattu, Tiruvannamalai District on 06.07.1998, and finally, she was further transferred to the present school i.e. Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Arani, Tiruvannamalai District.

In the year 2008, during March, the Education Department, the Respondents herein made an arrangement to conduct fair examinations, in which, the petitioner was given the duty of a member of flying squad headed by the District Educational Officer, Thiruvannamalai District, to prevent mal-practices in the examination centres. As a member of the flying squad, the petitioner checked the students in different halls and found various bits and answers keys from various students, thereafter, the same was immediately informed to the 4th respondent by the District Educational Officer about the mal-practices committed by the students. Since the petitioner strictly conducted the examinations and prevented the mal-practices in the said school, the District Educational Officer had submitted a detailed representation to the 4th respondent on 09.04.
2008 explaining the entire facts, and sought for protection against the vindictive action taken by the petitioner. The said representation was also forwarded to the second respondent for further action. Thereafter, to the petitioner's shock and surprise, the 3rd respondent, by its proceedings in Na.Ka.No.031712/W2/2008 dated 04.04.2008, had transferred the petitioner from Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Arani, Tiruvannamalai District to Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Namakkal, Namakkal District, stating various administrative reasons. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition challenging the said proceedings dated 04.04.2008.
4. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the challenges made in this Writ Petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
5. Recording the above submissions and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
