This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2024 for issuance of a separate patta in respect of Survey No.196/4 situated at Agaramthen, Tambaram Taluk, Madampakkam Post, Chennai - 600 126.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that she purchased the property on 06.10.1997 vide Document No.4451 of 1997 and the revenue records also transferred in the name of the petitioner. Separate patta was also issued in Patta No.560 in Survey No.196/3A2, 4B2. Thereafter, without any intimation, the revenue authorities changed Patta No.9915 in favour of joint owners in respect of Survey No.196/3A, B, 4, namely Venkatesan, Ezhila, Radha, Narendra Babu, Gunasekaran, Selvaraj and Baskar. Hence the petitioner, in this regard, has given a representation on 21.02.2024 to consider her request for issuing a Page 2/4
separate patta in Survey No.196/4 instead of Joint Patta 9915 in Survey No.196/3A.
3. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders for issuance of separate patta for the land situated in Survey No.196/4 situated at Agaramthen, Tambaram Taluk, Madampakkam Post, Chennai - 600 126, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
